Goolugatup Sounds ushers in the cool Makuru nights with an evening of deep and layered electronic sounds.

Fresh from performances at the Art Gallery of NSW and Bundanon, MATT RÖSNER returns to Perth for a rare live set at Goolugatup. Using his signature palette of live guitar, piano and field recordings, Matt’s music reflects the sonic landscape of the wide open spaces of Western Australia, music for a late night drive through the desert or a distant early morning sunrise.

PORTIA ROSE is a Boorloo-based soundmaker, performer and dj – known increasingly for her spacious, enveloping live sound environments crafted from synth washes, spoken word, field recordings and instrumental collage. Shifting gears easily between the club, the radio studio, the gallery, and even guerilla gigs among parks and disused architecture – Portia is a sonic sculptor on this rise, promising a set of rich detail and sprawling audio meditations.
