Born to Latvian/Australian parents the artist behind VOLASA is inspired by an eastern European aesthetic. Growing up with a great appreciation for the intricate designs of traditional Latvian folk art and costumes VOLASA melds these influences along with a simple aesthetic into modern wearable designs. Each piece is hand crafted in their studio located on Whadjak Noongar Boodjar south of the Derbal Yerrigan.
