Join us 5pm Saturday September 5 at Goolugatup Heathcote for the launch of ARTERY no. 4, responding to Lucinda Tassone’s oil-on-masonite collection I live for this🐯

Readings (TBA) and a brief interview between Lucinda and ARTERY no. 3’s feature artist Josef Quinn will be followed by drinks and music until late.

Magazines will be available for an exclusive launch price of $20, down from RRP $24.99, alongside stickers and some other fun things…

Lucinda Tassone’s I live for this, from her series Reels (2025–), is a visual amalgamation of the short-form content Lucinda encounters as a student who is chronically online.

ARTERY no. 4 features original fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and hybrid works from emerging Australian writers, in response to Lucinda’s collection.

Characters from these paintings wander in and out of featured works, in an unmissable collection which asks how we love, make art, and change, in unstable times.

Please share widely; join us as we celebrate the work of these brilliant emerging writers and artists!

This launch and exhibition has been made possible by the generous support of Goolugatup Heathcote and Paul Boye, as well as the Western Australian Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport.

ARTERY would like to acknowledge that these activities will be taking place on the unceded lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people. We pay our respects to elders past, present, and emerging.
