This is a group exhibition from the artists and creatives based at Heathcote Cultural Precinct. They present recent artwork and reflect on their personal experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We wanted to bring our community together, to share and document the very local impacts of this global crisis. By hosting a new exhibition, we also aimed to create fresh opportunities to support the practices of working artists.
The era of isolation has been a lonely time for many. This exhibition shows that we are not alone – we are sharing in a vast and varied collective experience.
While we are pleased to re-open and welcome the public to Heathcote Cultural Precinct, the crisis is not over. We can not know what the future holds, but though upheaval gives rise to adversity it also affords the opportunity for change.
