Workshop – 12 Oct, 10am-1pm – Chair Maquettes with Andy Christie

Ever wondered how chairs are put together? Are you a keen maker in the visual arts? Then this workshop is for you! Join artist and woodworker Andrew Christie as he goes through the basics of chair design, the tools to make them and the different ways they can be put together. Participants will then design and make their own chair maquette.

This workshop is specifically for visual artists and designers with a few skills already that want to learn more.  Interested in taking part? Register here. Spots are limited! Ticketed at the subsidised rate of $25 and for ages 18+.

Panel Discussion – 16 Nov, 11am-1pm. Chaired (lol) by Beth George, with Katie West, artist and curator Dan McCabe, and Angus McBride, Director of Remington Matters (Perth).
