Children's School of Contemporary Art

The Children’s School of Contemporary Art runs art and design classes for kids in Fashion, Building & Design, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Installation Art and Crafts. All classes are taught by working artists and designers who have industry experience in their field and are suitable for all skill levels. All programs contain a drawing component to encourage the development of fine motor skills and the ability to visually express creative thinking. Lessons also contain a critical thinking component to encourage students to consider process, technique, concept and imagination in their creative development. A range of classes for 5-15 year olds are run on a weekday or weekend. These include Prep Art, Primary Art, Senior Art, Drawing, Advanced Drawing, Draw + Paint, Fashion, Design + Build. School holiday workshops also take place throughout the year.
