Mikaela is a young Western Australian artist, currently working out of a studio at Goolugatup Heathcote. Having trained in both design and community development, she works predominantly as a public artist, printmaker and arts facilitator. Mikaela is interested in the evolution of landscapes; the significance of plant species to place or local narratives; and the details, growth and function of plants and all of their parts. Her distinct florals and intuitive linework can be found on walls across metro and regional WA. Mikaela has also recently joined the Swan River Print Studio.
