Elina Bry

Elina Bry is a multidisciplinary artist and award-winning filmmaker. They work across video, storytelling and live performance. They are interested at listening to and re-staging the malfunctions of the human body. Ecology and slow-travel serve as integral components of their artistic practice. Their 2025 calendar features screenshots from a work-in-progress by artist Elina Bry. The film explores the interconnectedness of the climate crisis and nature across three regions personal to them: Scotland, Finland, and France. Through this lens, they draw parallels between the planet’s “chronic illness”—climate change—and their own experiences with chronic illness. The images are taken from moments spent in these landscapes, reflecting on endurance, change, and vulnerability. Elina's calendar invites you to consider the question: Is the Earth chronically ill? A thoughtful addition for those interested in art, nature, and ecological storytelling.
