Kate Kelly lives in White Gum Valley in Walyalup in Western Australia. She creates ceramics for sacred and practical use. Clay both soothes and sparks elemental energy in me. It is a pathway back to a childhood sensory memory: sitting near my grandmother and working alongside her in her studio.
